1. About YourMonitor

YourMonitor is a Windows desktop utility for monitor and display color management published by 1v6 Studio. It allows users to adjust brightness, contrast, and gamma using software-level color adjustments through the Windows display API. By purchasing or using YourMonitor, you agree to these terms.

Legal business name: 1v6 Studio.

2. License Grant

Upon purchasing YourMonitor, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the application on one device. Your license key is tied to a single machine.

3. Prohibited Actions

You may not:

Resell, sublicense, rent, or transfer your license key to another person.
Share your license key publicly or privately.
Crack, patch, bypass, or otherwise circumvent the license system.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
Redistribute the application or any part of it.
Use the application for any illegal purpose.

Violation of any of these terms may result in license revocation or access suspension.

4. Safety Statement

YourMonitor only applies software-level display color adjustments via the Windows gamma ramp API. It does not modify monitor firmware, hardware settings, refresh rate, resolution, HDR mode, game files, or game processes. It does not inject into any application, hook any game, read game memory, or draw overlays. It is a standalone utility that operates entirely within the Windows operating system.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

YourMonitor is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be compatible with every monitor, driver, or system configuration. Users are responsible for using the app safely and verifying its suitability for their setup.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YourMonitor and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the application. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the app and request a refund within the refund period.

7. Updates

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
