No separate YourTools profile is required. You sign in on each platform's official authorization page only when connecting that account. You choose what gets published. Post manually, or enable AI publishing and explicitly ask your connected assistant to publish.

Early-access availability: TikTok is currently limited to approved sandbox test accounts and private posts while production approval is pending. Facebook Page publishing is available to authorized test accounts. Instagram requires an eligible professional account and tester access while Meta review is pending. AI assistants & MCP

Let your AI assistant prepare the post.

YourPost includes a local Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects a compatible AI client to the running Windows app. Work with your selected local video and connected social accounts from a conversation.

Choose your media

Ask your assistant to load a video from a local file path and check whether it is ready to post. The MCP connection controls YourPost's shared draft; it does not provide a searchable library of your social media history.

Write titles for each account

Your assistant can draft a title from your instructions, set it across the selected profile, or apply a different title to an individual account. You can review and edit the same draft in YourPost.

Publish with your permission

Choose the destination accounts, enable automatic AI publishing in YourPost, and explicitly ask your assistant to publish. It can check upload progress afterward. Platform permissions, required settings, and license checks still apply.

Connect a compatible MCP client

  1. Open a YourPost build with AI control, activate your license, and connect your social accounts.
  2. In Settings, open AI control and publishing (local MCP) and enable AI access.
  3. Configure your MCP-capable AI client to launch the YourPost MCP helper supplied with that build. Keep YourPost running.
  4. Ask the assistant to read the current state, select a profile and video, and prepare the titles. Enable AI publishing only when you want it to post.

Example request: “Select Profile 1, load my video, write a short title, and prepare it for my Facebook Page. Let me review before posting.” An AI client is required; MCP is the connection, not a built-in language model. Check your AI provider's data-handling settings before sharing private information.

Profiles & accounts

Keep your posting accounts organized.

Basic includes 1 posting profile, Pro includes 5, and Business includes 10. Group accounts for different brands, projects, or channels, then switch the active profile before preparing a post.

Separate account groups

Each profile can contain one account per supported platform. Use another profile when you need a second account on the same platform.

Choose every destination

Enable only the accounts that should receive the current video. Use a shared title or tailor it for each destination. Profile changes also change the draft your assistant controls.

Official platform connections

YourPost supports workflows for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Page Reels. Account eligibility, API approval, and platform-specific options determine which connections you can use.

What is YourPost?

YourPost is a Windows desktop social media publishing app by YourTools. Prepare short-form videos, manage account groups, and publish to selected connected accounts.

Can an AI assistant post for me?

Yes, in an MCP-enabled build with AI access and AI publishing enabled. A compatible client can select a video, set titles, configure accounts, and publish after your explicit request.

Does Instagram need a professional account?

Yes. Instagram publishing requires a Business or Creator account. During development, the account must also have the required tester access. A personal Instagram account is not sufficient.

Is YourPost publicly available?

YourPost is in early access. Download and activation codes are separate. Platform approvals and test-account restrictions still apply; the latest AI features may require a newer test build than the installer below.

Does the MCP server run in the cloud?

The MCP helper runs locally and talks to your running YourPost app. Connecting accounts, verifying licenses, and publishing require online services.

Can I manage multiple brands?

Use separate posting profiles to organize their accounts. Select the right profile and review its enabled destinations before posting manually or with AI.

Workflow

Full posting flow.

Every upload starts from a post you create and confirm. You can publish now or choose a scheduled time where supported.

1. Connect an account

Click Add account and choose an available platform. YourPost opens the platform's official authorization page in your browser. You sign in with the platform directly; YourPost never sees your password. TikTok testing currently requires an approved sandbox account. Meta integrations require eligible test accounts until approval for wider access.

2. Choose a video

Click Choose to pick a vertical video from your computer. The app shows a preview, file name, duration, and resolution. You can play, pause, and scrub the preview. Instagram and TikTok also support selecting a cover-frame time.

3. Write caption

YouTube has an editable title and description. Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook use an editable caption. Hashtags can be added directly to the title, description, or caption when the platform supports them.

4. Set privacy & options

For TikTok you review an available privacy level and supported interaction and disclosure options. For YouTube you set visibility, audience, and altered-content disclosures. For Instagram you can choose whether to share the Reel to your feed. Facebook Reels publish publicly to the selected Page. You can also choose an available scheduled time for each platform.

5. Review & enable platforms

Toggle each platform on or off to choose where this video will be posted. Only enabled platforms receive the upload. You can post to one or several connected platforms at once.

6. Post

Click Post to start now or confirm a scheduled upload. The Uploads tab shows progress for each platform and any upload waiting for its scheduled time. You can cancel a waiting or active upload from there.

TikTok Integration

What YourPost accesses on TikTok.

YourPost uses TikTok's official Content Posting API with the video.publish scope. Here is exactly what is accessed and why.

Profile info

Username and profile picture are used so the app can show which TikTok account is linked. The YourTools OAuth broker processes this basic account information only as needed to complete login.

Creator settings

Before upload, YourPost queries your account's available privacy levels and maximum video duration to validate your chosen settings. No content data is accessed.

Video upload

Your video is uploaded directly to TikTok using the upload URL TikTok provides. YourPost does not store, copy, or re-upload your video to any other service.

User confirmation before every post

You review the available privacy level, comments, duet, stitch, and required content disclosures before confirming a TikTok post. If you choose a local scheduled time, the app waits until that time before starting the upload. Tokens returned to YourPost are encrypted locally using Windows DPAPI. The YourTools OAuth service temporarily processes authorization codes and tokens for login and refresh; it never receives your TikTok password or selected TikTok video.

Facebook Integration

Publish Reels to your Facebook Page.

Facebook Page publishing is working in early-access testing. YourPost uses Meta's Graph API for Pages managed by the signed-in user, not personal profiles. Availability for other users depends on Meta approval.

Choose a Page

YourPost uses pages_show_list to list eligible Pages. If you manage several Pages, you choose exactly which Page to connect.

Show Page identity

YourPost uses pages_read_engagement for the Page name and profile image shown in the account card.

Publish a confirmed Reel

YourPost uses pages_manage_posts only after you select a video, review its caption, enable the Page, and confirm publication manually or through an explicitly authorized AI publishing request.

Temporary video transfer

Facebook receives the selected Reel through an expiring signed URL. The temporary copy is deleted after publishing or automatically expires, normally within about two hours. YourPost does not keep a video library.
